Greetings from Toronto

Hi guys,

We left Thunder Bay on the 30th. We were supposed to be leaving at 5 am but instead we left at 9 am! My dad had to drive the Uhaul truck, my brother David had to drive his own vechile and us in our van.The Uhaul has to be one way vechile. I had to ask Dave to tag along so that he could take dad back home.I am glad they tagged along with us. They were great helping us and to celebrate New Years! My two oldest kids, Abigail and Noah took turn to ride with my dad, and David. THey switched back and forth every time when they stops for gas or for some meals. They had fun! We were about half an hour behind them all the way to Toronto. We kept trying to catch onto them. My dad claimed he drives 90 mph ???? We stopped in Marathon for gas and lunch, but not for long! They took off before us! They told us to meet them in Wawa cuz my dad needs some gas. HE said it s more cheaper there?? So within five minutes we got there and they were already gone!! We drove to Sault Ste Marie and we couldn't find them knowing they wouldnt leave without us.. and it was getting late. We waited for like ten minutes for them,,assuming the possiblity they were behind us because of the gas back in Wawa. We found out from the lady at the gas station telling us she spotted the Uhual truck and the SUV vechile parked across for 20 minutes and left .. they left ten minutes before we got there! So, we figured they'd stop in Sudbury for real. We left Sault Ste Marie and drove and discovered the fog was getting bad.. We got in Sudbury safe but the fog was still pretty bad. We couldn't find my dad and Dave anywhere. We tried the cell phones but they were off?? WE drove all over Sudbury hoping for a chance to spot them through the thick fogs. Indeed, we did! THey parked by the hotel on the other side of Sudbury! We found out that they got there ten minutes before we got there! So, next morning.. they left ten minutes before we did once again. The hotel was near the highway to Toronto so it was good. We stopped in Barrie, for some gas and for some lunch but dad and Dave aren't there. We got in Toronto 2 30 ish pm. We got to my cousin's house and found out that dad and dave were there 30 minutes before we did. We talked with them. They claimed they had the cell phones on ??? lol. The trip was fun but long! I got to see the house that Scott found for me at 4 pm. I loved it! A lot of spaces and georgous. We celerbated New Years with my cousin and her husband at their house. The kids got to stay up with their boys. We had a sleep over. We had New Years' breakfast together with auntie and uncle and cousins and of course my dad and dave joined. Dad and Dave helped us getting settled in afterward. Took us alll day and all evening to get all done. Abigail and Noah were having a hard time adjusting here. NOah was the hardest. Ezra and Faith adjusts well but Faith didnt do well at nights for the first few days. The kids are getting a lot better accepting the fact that we'd be here for the time beings. I still have few boxes to unpack.. Thank you for thinking of us! <3

Happy Holidays!!!

Now that we have been offically packing for the past month.. We are leaving in three days. We have packed up a lot of things and now the boxes seems to be taking up all the spaces in here. I cannot stand the mess around here.Still have lots to do..We still need to get more boxes! We are going to load up the truck on the 29th. After all those boxes loading up, I'd have to clean all over the place and then we'd leave on the 30th. I'll be living 16 hours away from my childhood bestfriend, my adopted sister, and my family and friends..I hate goodbyes but I d come back often to see all of you :)

Anyways.. Hope you all have a safe holidays! See you in 2007!! :)

Expecting

A young private sought permission from his Commanding Officer to leave camp the following weekend. "You see," he explained, "my wife`s expecting."

"Oh..." said the Officer, "I understand. Go ahead and tell your wife that I wish her luck."

The following week the same soldier was back again with the same explanation: "My wife's expecting."

The Officer looked surprised. "Still expecting?" he said, "Well, well, my boy, you must be pretty bothered. Of course you can have the weekend off.

"When the same soldier appeared again the third week, however, the Officer lost his temper. "Don't tell me your wife is still expecting!" he bellowed.

"Yes sir!" said the soldier resolutely, "She`s still expecting." "What on earth is she expecting?" cried the Officer.

"Me." said the soldier simply.
